Our classes are conducted using Skype as primary communication tool for connecting the student and the teacher for a one to one class. Skype allows us the flexibility of having a video call as well as voice call depending upon the choice of the students, especially our sisters.

We are planning to offer an option of online classes soon where multiple students at same level of learning would be able to log on to a particular class using login details provided by us. Inshallah!

One on One Classes

This allows us to provide complete attention to the students needs according to their learning capability and guide them to achieve their goals of reading the Holy Qur'an fluently with proper Tajweed.

Flexibility

We conduct the classes based on the students availability and convinience. Many of our students are working or studying and hence have spare time after their regular work or clases or on weekends and we are available at the time of their preference.

Anytime Any Device

Our classes can be conducted anytime the student should so choose and can be conducted on any device as we use Skype as primary tool of teaching.

Female Instructors

We have female instructors avialable to teach our sisters who feel more comfortable beng taught by lady teacher. Though this option is not only limited for female students but also to under 10 children whose parents would prefer a female instructor.

You need a Laptop/Desktop (PC), a high speed internet connection, a good headset with mic and pencil/pen with a notebook.

Laptop or Desktop: It can be of any average configuration. If you can install and run Skype it will be sufficient to conduct the classes. Click here to get skype software.

High Speed Internet Connection: We advise you to have internet connection of no less than 4 MB speed (although 1 MB also works well). This shall ensure proper and smooth flow of the class. If you have intermittent connection problem then please resolve it before you start your classes. Poor connection leaves bad impression for both the Student and the Tutor. But the worst part is that you tend to lose interest in learning Quran.

Headset and Mic: A good headset with mic is another vital thing necessary for your online classes. We advise you to buy a new one so that there is no unnecessary interference due to loose/worn-out wire etc while conducting the classes.

Pen/Pencil and Notebook: Having a pencil/pen and a notebook is a very good habit while attending these classes. This shall ensure that you make a note of all the important rules of Tajweed, Makharij etc.

To Join our Academy, the procedure is very simple.

Kindly go to http://qurantutorsusa.com/registration/ and fill out the web application form. Once you submit, you will receive a Skype invitation from us.Then upon finalizing time slot with you based on seat availability, we shall initiate a TRIAL class for you so that you can check our entire class setup and then decide whether to Join us or not.

If you decide to join us, you would need to make the fee payment for that month. Normally this is done via Paypal. Once we receive the fee payment for the current month, we shall confirm your class schedule. Inshallah!

Yes, of course! Each student gets 30 minutes of one-on-one time with the Tutor. Each Class shall be of duration 30 minutes. Inshallah!

The duration of Qur'an learning entirely depends on an individuals ability to learn and the effort they are willing to put towards achieving this noble goal.

If a person wants to learn Recitation of Qur’an only, then it might take about 6 months to perfect it. If a person wants to learn Recitation and complete the entire Qur'an recitation with the instructor, it might take about an year or more.

Similarly, if a person wants to Memorize Qur’an, the length of duration varies from person to person. Some take 2 years to memorize entire Qur'an while others might take 4 years or more. A young child on an average memorizes the entire Qur’an within 3 years. An adult might take more time.

Nevertheless, Just get started with your Qur'an learning and Inshallah you will adjust automatically and know your own milestones. Your instructor shall be of great help in setting your milestones. Inshallah.

Currently, we use paypal as the primary payment system to receive the student fee. As an alternative, we also accept fee through wire transfer services like Western Union.

Since paypal is one of the largest and most easiest forms of online payment system, most of our students find it easy to pay their fee through it. A student may pay either through a paypal account or by using a credit/debit/cash card.

The fees are collected at the begining of each month or in advance. Please ensure the fees are paid timely to ensure continuity of classes. Do note : If the fees are not paid despite reminders, the classes will be discontinued and the same time slot may be allocated to another student. We will not be able to guarantee the previous time slot with the same instructor should you rejoin again.

For the classic version of Skype: PC running Windows® XP with SP3, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1 or 10 both 32- and 64-bit operating systems. Internet connection – broadband is best (GPRS is not supported for voice calls). For voice calls we recommend a broadband connection with 100 kbps down / 100 kbps up.

You can use your smart phone for the class provided you have Skype installed and are using the wifi to connect as GPRS is not supported for voice calls.

Yes, you can change your Tutor anytime you wish. However, this is subject to availability of seats with other Tutors. In any case we advise all students to stick to their respective Tutors and not to go about changing frequently. This tends to disturb the learning process.

In order to change your Tutor, you need to send a mail with the request to the Admin at info@qurantutorsusa.com

Yes it is defintely possible to change your instructor if you need to. We will try to accomodate your request as much as possible while maintaining your class schedule. Sometime it may not be possible to do so immediately and would like you to have patience till we are in a position to do so.

Your complaints are important feedback that we use to improve ourselves continually so do not hesitate to complain about your Tutor or to bring to our notice any other aspect you think requires improvement from our side. We shall only be happy to oblige. Rest assured your name shall be kept confidential from the Tutor!

We will try to accomodate your request as much as possible with the same instructor. Sometime it may not be possible to do so due to the requested time slot not available with your instructor immediately and would like you to have patience till we are in a position to do so.
